Having family who have lived in the local area for the last 15 years, I have wanted to base myself here and although having a history of working in hospitality this is the first time I have taken on a pub to run as my own! And I am very fortunate to have inherited a great team.
I want to be a real part of the local community and work with local businesses, artisan producers, farmers, fishermen/women, artists, organisations, attractions etc and do what I can to help. We want to provide classics, soul food and worldwide flavours using fantastic local and seasonal produce, tasty authentic ingredients with fab herbs and spices in a homely, welcoming environment that fits whatever is your mood!
Growing as much veg and herbs in our garden is the aim to really provide the freshest, seasonal healthy tastes. We want to build a pizza oven, bbq and have our own smoker as well as being able to get to the point of selling our own marinades, dips and relishes!
The Mill and the area is truly beautiful which I want to use as much as possible so everyone can enjoy. I love the wildlife in the wonderful garden here and want to do what I can to maximise the benefits for birds (Hawk and Owl Trust is just across the fields), butterflies, bees, insects etc and for the local ducks and swans - the nearest neighbours!
Any ideas of what you would like to see or can help with then please do not hesitate to contact us on or 01328 856161.
This is temp site at the moment but an all singing and dancing website with more great local pictures will be about soon!
I look forward to seeing you.

About the Mill
The 1086 Domesday Book lists 3 mills at Sculthorpe, with the current mill building finished in 1757. The main purpose was to mill corn for locals and farmers, and was active until around 1947.
It lay derelict for some years, until William Patrick Collins opened Sculthorpe Mill Country Club in 1965, and it's been at the heart of the community ever since.
